Nicolas Yeh
Nicolas Yeh is the Founder and President of Project Sprout Inc. Born and raised in Arcadia, CA, Nicolas is currently a senior at St. Francis High School in La Canada, CA. In addition to playing on the Varsity Water Polo Team, Nicolas has played on the volleyball team at St. Francis and has been actively involved in many different clubs on campus. Some of his most notable club moments include being the VP of the Investment club, where students discuss the stock market, and founding the Entrepreneurship club, where students have the opportunity to learn from experienced guest speakers. Last year, Nicolas decided to merge both clubs in order to give students a more cohesive understanding of the synergy between investing and entrepreneurship. Nicolas has also networked with and invited multiple guest speakers for the club.
Nicolas is an active member of Boy Scout Troop 355, where he is in the process of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. Over the past few years, he has performed over 300 hours of community service. Nicolas has volunteered at Union Rescue Mission, Union Station, Ahead with Horses, various eagle projects, and other service opportunities. Aside from Project Sprout, Nicolas has founded a startup app company which is still in its developmental stages and is about to enter its funding rounds. He has recruited experienced coders and designers and plans to release the app before the start of 2018. Nicolas also serves as the VP/Chief Strategy Officer of Paws to Help Pasadena, a non-profit organization dedicated to encourage animal fostering by making the process more convenient. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Nicolas has had the opportunity to participate in board meetings at the Lucky Group and gain valuable insight into the trading and manufacturing industries in Asia. Nicolas has also had work experience as a warehouse lead at Design International Group and as an intern at LA Urban Farms, a company which Project Sprout is now partnered with. In addition to being fluent in Chinese, Taiwanese, Spanish, and Latin, Nicolas also likes to play the cello and hang out with his friends.
