Sabella Singh
Sabella Singh is a Community Outreach Officer at Project Sprout and is in charge of reaching out to missions and shelters to offer them the use of hydroponics in their facilities. She is a student in the graduating class of 2018 at San Marino High School and had previously attended Huntington Middle School. Sabella has had several internships, her biggest being research under an infectious disease researcher at City of Hope and a cancer oncologist at Norris Cancer Hospital. She plays on the San Marino High School Varsity Volleyball, Basketball and Softball teams, is a captain for the basketball team, and hopes to continue playing basketball in college. Over the summer she has worked in order to coach the future generation of kids in basketball at her high school. She also has been on the Red Cross Cabinet at her high school since her freshmen year, organizing several blood drives for the students and San Marino Community as well as the leadership committee for Relay For Life by the American Cancer Society her freshmen and sophomore year. On the weekends she also volunteers her time at Huntington Memorial Hospital and as a voluntary medical provider for the charity LOVE L.A. on Skid Row. She also serves as co-founder and vice president of the non-profit Paws For Help, a local organization with the aim of helping animal shelters and fostering services in the area. With over 800 hours of community service, Sabella is an active and engaged member of community, and hopes to better both herself and the people around her.
